The NexSys range now has 24 V, 36 V, 48 V and 80 V modelsEnerSys has added an 80 V model to its range of NexSys iON lithium-ion batteries.
The 80V battery with fast recharge and long run times is suitable for heavy-duty equipment, including those converting from liquid petroleum- and diesel-fuelled equipment to fulfill sustainability requirements.
The NexSys range already includes 24 V, 36 V and 48 V models.
EnerSys senior director of marketing at Motive Power Global Harold Vanasse says: “We strive to provide our customers with solutions that are tailored to their unique operational demands.
“Sometimes that can include a large warehouse that’s operating on a 24/7 basis and requires the utilisation of a variety of heavy-duty equipment to keep up with their business schedule.
“It’s important that we can offer these operators a complete range of power options that provide high productivity and lower total cost of ownership.”
The battery can be integrated into forklifts via Controller Area Network (CAN) protocol, and also meets European Union safety, health and environmental protection requirements.
