Crown Equipment Australia has contracted US power company Exide Technologies to supply motive power batteries, chargers and aftermarket services.
Terms of the deal were not released, but Exide said the batteries would be manufactured in Australia, and the chargers imported from its facilities in the UK.
Neil Bright, president of Exide's Industrial Energy business group, said the company was able to provide Crown with a "total power solution".
