BSL New Energy Technology Company, known as BSLBatt, has launched a new 24 V lithium-ion pallet jack battery and charger designed to last up to 20 years.

BSLBatt product manager Zhou Zhang says the battery can be fitted to most walk-behind pallet trucks, including Caterpillar, Clark, Crown, Big Joe and Toyota models.

Zhang says traditional wet or sealed absorbent glass mat (AGM) batteries typically last 18 to 60 months before degrading and needing to be replaced.

In contrast, BSLBatt pallet truck batteries are designed to have a service life of 10 to 20 years, he says.

“The launch of the lithium pallet truck battery and charger combination is a game-changing lithium battery for pallet trucks,” he says.

The built-in onboard charger can be plugged into any standard 220 V or 110 V socket.

Zhang says the new batteries will reduce costs and improve productivity.

Managers can also monitor the health and performance of the batteries remotely through the BSLBatt cloud platform.
