Help.......I have 2 DTC 05 & 12 the forklift will not go forward or backwards. The reverse alarm does sound when lever is in the reverse position. The transmission oil level is good. All fuses checked and ok

The codes are "dash" codes for the wiring to the dash.
005 is "rear work lamp shorted to common" check the back up lights and tailights if it has them. Also check the brake lines on top of the differential housing, if there is a sending unit in the brake line disconnect the wires.
012 is "engine shutdown relay coil shorted to common" you might check that relay for welded tips.
Not sure of the codes either,but as rodger stated the parking brake has two switches on it one Normally open one normally closed......one is for the light on the dash to let you know the brake is on the other supplies the ground path for both the FWD/Rev Solenoids....the switch provides the ground when the parking brake is released.....check to see if their is a wire off on the switches or if it went bad......
Not sure what the codes mean, but I think that there is a switch on the p/b lever that is a known issue for no fwd/rev. I would start there.
