we require this parts proximity sensor with wire pl. help me for purchese
our crown machine model TSP 6500
I have had this issue before at a place that sorts and boxes hardware, turns out a box of bolts fell on the forks and a bolt managed to find its way into the extendable fork and was blocking it from retracting all the way, removed the bolt and and all was good
Hi folks..I know on our TSP's ( 19 in total) we have been experiencing a lot of aux mast cable failures..contributes to many issues descibed here. Also the Rotate cylinders have a joining hyd hose at there rear. Oil gets past the pistons and hydrolocks the two cylinders..quick fix ofcourse is to loosen then bleed, but Crown does have a hardware fix for the issue now.
I got a TSP6000 with a similar problem but either pivot not home, no pivot function, i replace pot 5, calibrate but no sense in both sides, i checked arnes and solenoids but the problem persist, both pivot cyliners goes in the same direction, when press traverse and pivot buttons at the same time traverse run fast but no pivot function, what can I do ? Sometimes when i press those buttons at the same time appears 765 and 769 codes
Recalibrate traverse sense in c2 hydraulic calibrations. Traverse will then slow itself down before slamming stop. Set from display no laptop needed
I just had the same problem, I found that the Harness from the forks to the top of load handler was bad. Its the wire Harness that runs through the aux with the spring tension. These new turrets are a lot better then the old ones. One more trick that I did is pull on the wire and see if the forks show home.
Had this problem multiple times. Check resistance in power cable to POT on top down to bottom where it connects. 9 times out of 10 its a short in that power cable atleast for me anyways. Seen it in different turrets a lot.
Access 7 codes are generated by the load handler.
Calibrate the traverse sense. unless you work for crown you won't get the access code needed to get into the calibrate via service menu,
Before changing traverse speeds make sure the traverse pot is ok and the cable operating it is still on its guide if the cable keeps jumping off renew the cable guide and pot ive had a couple jump off that wouldn't stay on till i replaced all 3 Ive had a few probs with the pots and more than a few with the cables. When you've done this calibrate traverse sense gain and you'll prob find its ok
Daviga, When you log into service mode you want to go to the calibrate section. If you don't see it, truck the truck off then back on but with your feet off of the foot switches. You want to go to the calibrate menu and the scroll to C2.1. You probably want to do all the calibrations under C2. So, C2.1 - C2.13. C2.6 is the aux flow valve. C2.7 is traverse valve. C2.1 is traverse sense.
I was incorrect in my previous post about the accumulator. the TSP6000 does not have a traverse accumulator. You can change the traverse speed Under performance You will find the option for traverse speed. P1.4 - Traverse speed.
The 564 code... If it had wire guidance and they removed it, maybe they didn't remove it properly. Check where the wire guidance mounts, under the truck and make sure they didn't do something crappy like cut the wires and tape them up. Or, if the wire guidance is still there, well then it might be sending signals to the access 5. In the service menu go to performance - P17.2 and make sure it is off.
Thank you adam for the info. The machine does not currently have wire guidance ( we bought it used) it did have wire guidance I can only assume it has been removed correctly. I believe I had failed to mention in my previous posts that before this started I changed a broken hose under the drivers seat (platform) that feeds the tranverse maybe there is air in accumulator??? I have tried to bleed the hoses. How could we slow the transverse down in service menu, is there anything online I can down load to better explain using the service menu. We read the codes with platform down , but the wrench light occurs while moving transverse while platform is down.
New to the forums and fairly new to forklift maintenance. Been working on Crowns for almost 2 years. Thought I start here with my Rookie input!
For the Fast traverse, it can be slowed down in the service mode. That might also help the banging around when you stop traverse OR you might need to replace/recharge the traverse accumulator. You can also calibrate the traverse which might help clear up some things.
As far as all your codes... Does the truck have wire guidance installed? 776,782 have to do with Access 7. Then there is 564 referring to the truck getting wire guidance signal but wire guidance is turned off. Is there a lot of corrosion on the battery and in the battery compartment? I have seen voltage to the frame sending random signals causing random codes. Is the platform up when the codes usually happen. Only happen when you run traverse or randomly?
Hope there was something valuable out of all this!
Thanks mcguyver and clark u. Been living with this problem for a couple of months, seems to be getting worse and throwing wrench, codes 564, 776, 782. in response to clark u I do not see light on the prox sensor and do not see any tests in the maintainance mode to check it. Did not see tests for pots in maintainance mode however calibrated handle left right and center values are as follows rt 3.86 left 1.3 center 2.6. Also did not understand "access 123 manual to navigate the menu" In response to mcguyver as I said ran calibration on handles but see no calibration for sensor in the menu.
Try calibrating the traverse sense.
