Before changing traverse speeds make sure the traverse pot is ok and the cable operating it is still on its guide if the cable keeps jumping off renew the cable guide and pot ive had a couple jump off that wouldn't stay on till i replaced all 3 Ive had a few probs with the pots and more than a few with the cables. When you've done this calibrate traverse sense gain and you'll prob find its ok
