Discussion:
Trans fluid

Does anyone know if Hyster requires a special fluid for their transmissions, and if so what is the aftermarket style. Truck in question is a S50XM. The fluid in there now is clear ( well once was ).

I could not find Hydraulic 56 oil, but could find J20C from Tractor Supply. Will this work for a Hyster S50XM? Thanks guys,

Curtis

s 50xm will need j20a or j20c grade oil for its transmission but smaller trucks h2.00xms for example use atf oil.
