Discussion:
Error codes and schematic

Hi,

I got all electronics from a Hyster R1.6 -99 a while back.
Plan is to use it for a electric DIY mini loader.
Right now Im trying to testrun the SEM2 zapi controller but get error codes. The code in the manual for the SEM2 is pedal wiper error.
I checked it, no problem.
Yesterday I built myself a USB-> Zapi interface and when I run zpwinconsole it says "STEER SENSOR KO"
On the hyster R1.6, is the steering controller connected to the SEM directly or via can? Can the missing signal be the problem?
At the moment I have only the SEM2 connected to the drive motor on the bench.

Please, if you have any information about the Hyster R1.6, Id be very glad if you could share.

Showing items 1 - 8 of 8 results.
The diagrams are spread out in the electrical section of the manual. I cannot separate the pages and send. The file for the entire manual is too large to send through our server. Your best bet is to contact your local dealer and request a manual.

I do not know if Miretti does more than just convert to spark proof, like adding enclosures around everything.

Could you find any electrical service info on the Hyster serial?
Maybe a connection diagram that shows how the HPRC pump controller, SEM-2 motor controller and the EPS-DC steering controller are hooked up togather?

As to your basic question, It appears tat the missing input from the steer sensor is holding off the controller. You will not be able to run the motor until the POST clears the controller to run.

Without a proper serial number, it is very hard to give you the info you need.

Fact of the week
According to studies published in the English Journal of Medicine, the impact of daylight savings is revealed by a 24% increase in heart attacks on the Monday following the spring shift forward. When clocks move back in autumn, heart attacks drop by about 21%, suggesting that loss of sleep is an important driver.
