Discussion:
Goes forward but will not in reverse

I have this older CTM20 electric model that has always been reliable and worked like a champ...that is until last night when I had to back up and it wouldn't move at all. The forward works fine...Only when I engage into reverse it decides not to budge. Does anyone know of a troubleshooting solution to this problem? Please help...Thanx

Do you hear several clicks when you attempt to drive in reverse? /If yes, then it is then contact assembly. There are two drive contact assemblies. I always change both at the same time.
You don't need a handset, error codes can be read from the dash display.

it should have a digital led display for battery , that should display codes too if i'm not mistaken.
If it has the analog bdi guage with the needle indicator then disreguard, you will need a handset to get the errors out of the control card.

Where would the display codes even be displayed? Hopefully this isn't a stupid question because I really do not know.
