CODE -24

I have a NPR17 with a code -24 the truck will not travel reverse

all contactors ok and forward reverse switches fine

does anyone have an idea what this code is.

suspect sluggish rev solenoid ,they can be removed dissassembled and blown out (with some success) but if you go that far, recommend replaceing entire assy (not just tips) as they are a pain to get out

back up alarm was just replaced a bit ago, I will have a look there.

how do you know the contactors are 'OK'?
They are by far the most likely reason for this code.
Have you replaced the directional/traction contactor assembly with one from a known good truck that you saw work?
Has anyone added or wired or repaired a backup alarm recently?
