Discussion:
Engine Swap

We have a 1998 Mitsubishi fg25 at our shop that we need to replace the engine on. The manual seems a little vague on the disassembly from the transmission. When we unbolt it at the bell housing will it separate or is there more we need to with the torque converter etc.? Is reassembly pretty straightforward or is it difficult to align? Any info would be greatly appreciated! It has an 4g63 engine BTW.
