Discussion:
Clark CG25 not running

Hi, I'm new to this forum so I hope I'm in the right place. I have a Clark CG25 lift I operate at work. Recently it was put in the chop to have all the hydraulic seals replaced. Got it back and it was running ok. Now yesterday it will no longer move forward or backwards but the lift motor still runs. Any idea how or what I need to do to remedy this issue? Thank you.

Yes, the -12 is displayed after the battery level is. Apparently there is either a short somewhere or a loose connection. I removed the floorboard and looked under there. Moved a few wires and also reseated the fuse there and the lift has been running normal now. I appreciate all your time and knowledge.

I'm sorry. Yes, the full model # is ECG25. Thanks for the info on the codes. When I put it in neutral the code displayed on the dash is -12. Also, are the terminals you mentioned to be checked behind the back plate at the rear of the machine,

ok... is that the full model# or should it be ECG25?
anyway a 02 code is saying forward ws selected on key on and 03 is reverse was selected at key on. will need to test wires at tb2 and tb5 (forward) and tb2 and tb6 (reverse) for shorts and and to made sure they are getting proper voltages when selected. could have a bad selector or a bad card.

Thank you for your response. Yes, I hear it connecting and it'll move then I'll hear the connector again as it'll just stall while you can still hear the motor continue to run. I also get error codes on the dash. Sometimes its -02 and other times its -03.

Thanks for your reply Tom. Yes, I charged it all the way up and it still does it. Are you referring to the fuses in the back behind the removable plate cover?
