Discussion:
side shift

Hi guys
New to the game and need a bit of advise if poss
I have a few h25d with odd problems
L222 Comes up but only if you sit on seat ,if you start the oftruck off machine it work guess its the seat switch but this was changed recently ??

Also I have a side shift with no power it is a meyer system and another engineer has told me its the ram seals
They have a circlip on the outside so does this mean the end cap has to be pushed in to find a circlip on the inside ?????? to remove it to allow access to the piston

I am not sure it is this as the joystick has had water in it

thanks

the L222 refers to the joystick not being in neutral when truck started, this usually means joystick is worn and needs replacing

Fact of the week
In 1923, French tennis player René Lacoste was promised a crocodile leather suitcase by his captain if he won his next match. He lost the match but won the nickname "the crocodile" which he had sown onto his tennis attire. Ten years later he launched the first polo shirt and Lacoste, the first brand to feature a logo on its clothing.
