Hi Forkingabout

As I said before these machines are still under warranty, the owner informs me when the trucks go down with a fault and/or show up error codes ( which at the moment is every week). As they are under warranty he calls Toyota engineers to sort out BUT the faults keep reappearing. The last machine they got had a wheel break, a piston break and several fault codes appeared, all within 5 weeks of delivery. The Toyota engineers come and the faults are cleared BUT they reappear again, I was onsite with the customer only last week and a driver called me to his machine to show me error code 2:004 had reappeared albeit the truck continued to operate normally.
Now I have no axe to grind with Toyota but my concern is that when these machines are out of warranty I will be left with the problems.

Forkingabout maybe I could ask you for suggestions as to why 2:004 keeps appearing. It is obvious to me and the customer that the Toyota engineers are not fixing the problem. Maybe you can suggest some countermeasures to try based on your experience of these machines. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
