Trouble shooting would start with: Ground to the distributor? What kind of voltage drop are you getting? Verify your voltage supply? If you have both and they are good then you have an internal failure of the distributor. Most test will not show poor connections for the ignitor and pick up. You might get lucky by just cleaning them. Check air gap.008-.016in.
