This older 3 wheeler goes in to limp-in mode reduced speed after sitting for a few minutes and I dont see any fault codes but maybe this unit doesnt have that feature. How do you access the fault codes?

A 70-year-old man was killed by a truck while cycling; hours later, his twin brother was killed by a truck on the same road, about a mile away, before the family had been informed of the first accident.
