"Trainers can use this article to show employers that lack of training or improper training can affect employers in a very big way should a fatality occur (employee death, job interruption, bad public image, OSHA inspection, third party suit, etc.). Trainers should also note that if their training fails to comply with the letter of the law (OSHA regulations) and they give the employer the impression that it does, they may become a party in some future third party wrongful death suit."

Must have overlooked the article, Joseph. I learn, even as a trainer, the type of fatalities, and the results from these incidents.

People here would rather save $5.00/head, regardless of incidents like these. They believe it won't happen in their organization. Sad as it is, the awful training that they are accustomed to is what they continue to use. No article will change their minds because they think they know it all. You have read enough of my posts and articles to understand what is going on here. I wonder if they would buy a car w/o airbags and seatbelts if they can save a buck or two.

Anyhow, I agree with you wholeheartedly!
