The code is for CANBUS error. The connection on the side of the steer column is your test port. Check between A and B for ohms, should be about 60. If not, there may be a failed termination resistor or connection. Could also have a failed harness. Verify connectors at the VSM and ECU are in good condition and np loose connections. For the lock off, I have found the negative wire at the ECU to have a spread pin or socket causing a failed connection. The CANBUS wires are the twisted yellow and green. Good Luck.
