Hyster yale will make massive losses over the next number of years
and heres why

1 Big forklift 12.6 % of sales are big trucks Big trucks are made in Nijmegen in Holland but sell mostly in North America. with Donald trump planning tariffs on this type of equipment and Hoist and Toyota now entering the North American market together this will cause Hyster a large problem

2 Hydrogen fuel cell, hyster has a very large black hole in their hydrogen fuel cell business a $35 Million lose in EBITDA IN 2018 ALONE , companies like Plug power and Ballard are way more advanced than hyster in this area and their systems can drop into any electric forklift. Also Hydrogen will be surpassed as a fuel with in two years as there to many problems with it.

3 maximal is a $110 million black hole just waiting, the Chinese government who control all Chinese forklift manufactures will not let an americain company get a good foot hold in this market, what Maximal will do how ever is take hyster technology and share it with other Chinese manufactures. Also Hangcha will approach all the Hyster dealers sell their Utilev truck and offer them the same truck at a lower price meaning hyster will have direct competition with in their own dealer network. Sany and ZPMC are already looking like they are working together on container handling equipment so maximal will be no were, they produce around 6,000 small forklift up to 4,000kg a year so this was a nice payday for the maximal management and with another $10 million due

4 the hyster big electric truck won't happen , there is not the battery technology today to give a good enough range on its own and if they try to go fuel cell it would need over 50kg of fuel a day and at at least $.6.50 per kg it will just be two expensive, then it will be at least 60% more expensive than a normal big truck

Now you can pretend all this won't happen and put on here from your yale management point of view and even say this is not even true and its me being full of it.

But we both know it is true don't we

Fact of the week
The use of "hello" as a telephone greeting is attributed to Thomas Edison. He is said to have suggested it as a simpler alternative to other greetings, such as "Do I get you?" or "Are you there?".
