Had this happen and unit goes into limp mode. Unit went to shop and fuel pump and fuel rails had to be replaced. If this is a common rail engine ,this may be your problem. Linde had shop replace fuel lines. That did not work. Linde rep came down and fuel pump was diagnosed.Pump falls apart and fuel lines have to also be replaced. Metal shavings in fuel lines.

I had this problem with a warranty truck.
Linde had me replace sight glass & plastic tees in fuel lines with metal fittings suspecting air leaks in system.
finally we replaced fuel rail pressure sensor to correct issue.
