I bought a used Mits at an auction and looking to fix it up. It's been repainted several times over, including all the data plates. I was able to strip the plates down and polish them to a point that I could read some items;
F82-58560
FGC-25 G
8600 6760
5000
189 24 4700 4350
BRUDI SIDESHIFTER
SSC 507 A36.2
Does any of the above make sense to anyone? I deduced the model and serial number, but cannot find a picture of a data plate to make out what all means. Probably 189" lift 24" CG 4700 lbs?
Any and all help would be appreciated and will get this thing restored sooner than later.
Thanks!!

It looks like it is a 1998. This is what I think all of the #'s mean. 8600 should be the weight of the truck. The G is for type G meaning the truck was gasoline powered when it was built. The 189" is the lift height. 24" is the load center. I would assume that the 4700 is the capacity without the side shifter. 4350# should be the capacity with the side shifter.
The side shifter was made by Brudi and the SSC is the model # of the side shifter which should be 36.2" wide.
Ther should be M# and S# Stamped into the frame........i think rear, R/H, frame by the hood
Thanks...That's a good starting point.
I can't give you an exact year of manufacture but based on the serial # it was a unit built in Japan. Mitsubishi started assembly of forklifts in the US around 1988. If the serial number had an "A" prefix (like AF82-XXXXX) it would have been built in Houston. So this unit is at least a 1988 or older model.
The capacity ratings are given as with & without a side shift (4700 @ 24" lc w/o side shift & 4350 @ 24 lc w/sideshift)
