Discussion:
No start, no service manual

My employer bought this pallet jack, knowing that it needed repair. After charging the battery, it fails to power up when I turn on the power switch and input the key code. I am trying to get a service manual from Toyota so that I can diagnose the problem, but the Toyota support site just runs me around in circles, and never leads me to where I can download the service manual. How do I find a service manual?

Those are known for bad key pads and broken harnesses in the handle. Watch out for TVH replacement harnesses. Sometimes the wires are wrong and blow the key pads.

I now have a manual. Following the wiring diagram, I seem to have power going to the components, and all the fuses check ok, but the keypad does not light up, even though it has power and ground connections. I did replace the controller, since that is what the seller said was supposed to be the problem, but nothing changed. I suspect that there is an issue with the keypad/handle controls but am not certain how to verify that.

Nothing lights up, horn doesn't work. I input 1 and the green button, which is supposed to be the basic code to start it.
