I have a FOPR 6 / 3.5 machine I recently picked up with a fleet contract. But have no Idea where one would get parts or information on the machine.
I am located in Victoria BC, Canada and looking for Tie rod ends, and who the engine was build by.
Who is or is there a Dealer in western Canada?
Thank you in advance..

I would like to know what engine is in the Lansing Bagnall /petrol
I need a set of points etc
I think it may be a ford ??

Oh yes, FOPR etc. P for Petrol, FOPGR = Petrol / Gas (LPG, Propane etc) and FODR = You guessed, Diesel. We had a complete, brand new, still on the pallet Perkins 4-236 engine for sale on our 'local' TradeMe Auction site a couple of months back. dont know what happened with it.

Danny is correct I think. Perkins 4-236 on all FOPR 3.5 an 4.00 trucks in N Zed.
Balljoint Part number is 1018154-001 R/H thread and 1018155-001 L/H thread.
I get mine from TVH now that Handling Logistics are no more.

I should think it is a Perkins 4236 or 4258.2 gas but not positive. You may get parts from a Linde dealer if you are lucky, that truck would be getting on now.
Yes, according to all my paperwork, it is a FOPR 6, gasoline engine converted to propane.
But I do not know who built the engine.
The customer would like to rebuild the engine at some time, but I need to find a source for the parts.
Also the tie rod ends are worn out and need to be replaced.
Thanx in advance.
As Wajaxed mentions an engine is suspect the letters are correct, with the P standing for petrol, which i would guess would be the equivilent of an FOGR in the UK.
