Description
As an On-Site Fleet Manager with Guardian Fleet/MH Equipment, this individual is responsible for managing, maintaining and expanding our relationship with our Customer relative to our fleet initiatives, working directly with the Customer's personnel, Service Agreement contractors, internal Guardian Fleet and MH Equipment personnel.

Job Responsibilities:
Fleet Management Services (i.e. administration, maintenance, rentals, spare parts, etc.), Acquisition Services (i.e. mobile equipment, batteries, chargers, shop equipment, etc.), and Labor Services (i.e. supervisors, mechanics, etc.) per our Customer's Annex D State of Requirements for Mobile Equipment.
Develop and maintain quality relationships with our Customer in conjunction with our branch Management team.
Daily supervision of all Customers technicians and assigned MH technicians.
Monitor work flow to ensure optimum utilization (required to run) and report downtime and equipment status daily through (EOS) End of Shift report.
Provide analytical and operational support to our Customer utilizing Guardian Fleet Software and other tools as necessary.
Provide regular reports and expert analysis to our Customer that adds value focusing on cost savings and efficiency or safety enhancements.
Become an expert in suite of Guardian Fleet solutions including equipment options, service options, global parts and rental programs, fleet surveys, and Fleet software.
Analyze fleet data, propose customer recommendations, and execute.
Meet regularly with our Customer's and Guardian/MH team to implement strategy.
Achieve sales and gross profit objectives.
Maintain good customer information files and be prepared to review with management.
Pursue increasing knowledge of Fleet Management, our Customer, and competitive offerings.
Resolve customer issues, problems or complaints.
Support account in the assistance of credits, returns, and late payment if required.
Attend and participate in all Customers and Guardian/MH meetings.
Participate in Company sponsored training sessions for enhancing selling skills and technical knowledge.
Produce periodic budgets, plans of action, summaries and other reports or lists as necessary.
Present a professional image in personal appearance, dress and preparation.
Follow all Guardian/MH Equipment Company policies and procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements / Skills
Job Requirements:
Experience in fleet management, material handling industry and analytical or statistical analysis.
Great interpersonal skills - honesty, ethical, and integrity at all times.
Good problem solving abilities and ability to make decisions.
Strong communicator both verbal and written with strong analytical skills.
Valid driver's license and dependable vehicle.
Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, Power-Point, web searches, etc.
Job Preferences:
Minimum of 4 years in a Supervisor or Management Role.
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing practices, Problem Solving Techniques, 5S, etc.
Knowledge of utilizing Visual Management Boards and identifying and tracking metrics.
High level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to manipulate raw data and build tables, charges, graphs, and dashboards to communicate summary of data to customers.
Working Conditions: Flexibility to work when Customer needs require it and may exceed a 40 hour work week with some weekend work. The Customer's Wentzville plant will serve as their primary office location.
