A sign of the times at CeMAT Australia
A sign of the times at CeMAT Australia

CeMAT Australia was held in Sydney last week with a larger than usual contingent of Chinese OEMs. Forkliftaction speaks with a number of them to find out why they are targeting the Australian market, and what they feel needs to be done to be successful here. It’s an interesting insight into a shift in the market which is seeing some of China's largest companies making a move.

In other news, we name the individual and team winners of the Australian Forklift Championship, a big drawcard for the CeMAT event, and look at two deliveries of materials handling equipment to Iraq.

We also have details on Hiab’s EUR21.6 million forklift deal into the US.
