Yale GLP060VXEVSE091:
Hard to start

My machine takes 7-8 times starting before it starts and runs, however once it has run for awhile it will start back up on the first turn of the key. But after it sits for 15-20 minutes you have to crank it several times again for it to run. Any help is appreciated.

Were you able to repair with the filter change? There is another filter inline with the LP supply line to the mixer. It is a cylindrical filter that becomes easily clogged. Need to replace. Should it still be hard to start, need to complete fuel pressure checks, solenoid checks and possibly replace the injector at the base of the mixer. This system was the first attempt at meeting stronger emission restrictions. The regulator has two solenoids, one for initial start and one for maintaining RPM range of the engine. Thanks.

The hard to do we do right away. The impossible just takes a little longer.
If it is an Asian gas regulator remove the six 10mm screws remove the plate,, I can't quite remember if there is now a disc to be removed if there is flick it out with a small screw driver once removed you will see a felt pad
Remove it and you may find a chamber full of solids. Remove solid with vacuum cleaner, if you have a new felt pad fit it if not clean the old one as best you can and fit it back in chamber reassemble unit and see if truck starts, there's also a gas adjustment screw on this unit screw it in to enriching gas and out to weaken mixture. I hope this is helpful.

Serial number is B875B10358E. it has an aisan regulator on it and I'm not seeing a fuel filter on it anywhere unless it has one inside of the regulator. It starts fine if I give it a shot of starting fluid , then runs but sometimes it's a little low on power when you first hit the pedal.

Since Yale has multiple LP systems on trucks depending on the year, a serial number would help. Each system came with new items to check. Your local dealer should be able to help. Send your serial number. This could be a failing diaphragm, high LP pressure, weak spark. Check your cap if it has it. Plug wires and plugs. Spark plugs at known to wear faster on LP systems due to higher heat.

There will be a filter somewhere, sometimes in the high pressure line hidden in the back of the machine.
If its not there then its in the gas unit
