Discussion:
ECU warning light

Shortly after engine starts, ECU warning light comes on and I have limited throttle response. Shut down engine and restart after a couple of minutes and engine starts fine, then the ECU warning light comes on again. How do I retrieve the code without a scanner?

The answer has to do with getting someone with the proper "scanner" to access the controller and find exactly what the code is and says.
A correct serial number would help in being sure what was "the proper" scanner.
