This is a standup forklift which isn't used daily. Was working fine for years, then suddenly would not move. It will lift and reach, and it appears to have working hydraulics since the power steering seems to be functional.
Motor brushes appear good. We have never had any error codes. Who made sure that the battery was fully charged and still the unit will not move.

I'd be interested to know how you checked the fuses. They will test fine with an ohmmeter, but fail under current. Your deadman switch is most likely bad. Remove side cover at foot brake pedal. Jumper it and see if it drives now.
We checked the FUSES and all test good. But I'm not certain that we found all the SWITCHES since we don't repair/parts manual.
BTW, we are interested in purchasing a repair/parts manual if anyone has one for sale. Or if you have a few pages you can share or this issue. Either way, any assistance is much appreciated.

I'm going to check the brakes specifically as you suggest and will post the results.
I really appreciate your assistance -- thanks
Assuming all fuses and switches are ok. Open rear door and while pressing the deadman pedal, notice if the brake slave cylinder has movement releasing the brakes and operating the brake switch. If no cylinder movement is observed check the brake master cylinder reservoir, should be full of brake fluid. Bleed if required.
