Assuming all fuses and switches are ok. Open rear door and while pressing the deadman pedal, notice if the brake slave cylinder has movement releasing the brakes and operating the brake switch. If no cylinder movement is observed check the brake master cylinder reservoir, should be full of brake fluid. Bleed if required.
