i was working for cat when these machines came out back in the early 90's. They were the last models that cat produced just before they made their joint venture with mitsubitshi (MCFA). They were a very strong truck performance wise but were also very temperamental because of that peugot engine. And they were built in the UK. It seems that ever since they took on the MCFA franchise they have since purged just about all the information they have on the earlier model machines they have built and finding any useful information is difficult. Even their own programs that contain these models information for parts and service is all but nonexistent and refer the techs to separate sources for information if any exists at all.
All i can say about this, knowing what i do, is the only way your going to find any information is if someone has the 'hard copy' literature that was produced at that time.
Unfortunately this is the time we live in today where nothing from the past is retained in favor of pushing out the newest machines, purging out the old to make room for the new and future machines. Cat is not the only mfg doing this, they all are. They do not want these machines out there, they want them gone so they can sell their new ones. Unfortunately todays world is all about money if you want to roll it all up into one single reason things are the way they are.
But i wish you luck on your quest to find out what you can ;o)
