We had the same fault,
Next to print on the right side their are 2 resistors ( white 40x9x9 mm) 1 is 150 Ohm the other is 22 Ohm.

The 22 ohm was giving 94 ohm..
replaced the 22 ohm for a new one, fault gone.

Check for a blown fuse in the fuse block or missing fuse? If not then most likely print card.

So the guy had a nissan dealer come out to check the forklift and they said it had a bad controller card and need to get replace or rebuild. He will let me know when they get the part back and test it out.

thanks for the reply guys, @kevin_t i was thinking that same thing with it grounding out somewhere since its just a single wire from the battery level indicator to the meter print board connector, then i went to check the connector on the meter print board connector underneath the steering unit and did not find a wire to the connector. As i was double checking the connector from the schematic to the connector pin, making sure i was looking at the correct connector and it was just an empty slot.

my attempt was to find the wire on that meter print board connector and snip it off and cap it, i couldn't even do that.

my question now, would there be another wire on that meter print board connectors colored RED w/ YELLOW strip? and am i looking at the correct board (underneath steering wheel, inside the plastic cover with keyswitch assembly)?

He needs to find wire number 345 from the meter print board connector it is a red with yellow strip wire that feeds direct to the cell sensor.....being that its a single wire i am thinking it is a ground wire that is open when cell is full with water, then grounding when low...the wire he says isnt there so must of been unhooked at some point, find the wire as it is probaly touching ground causing the code....

Swoop...it shows it as a factory installed regular feature(not option) in the manual...and as is no adjustment to turn it on or off in the adjustment mode thru the dash......
all it is is a single wire switch that goes to a clear cell cover on one of the battery cells, when the water level drops in that it lets the controller know and sets the 019 warning....

could that be an option in the truck software setup that was enabled by default but the option was never actually put on the machine?

personally in my years of working in this industry i have never seen a lifttruck with a battery water level indicator sensor built into the battery from the factory, those were generally aftermarket addon accessories and were never tied into the truck system, they were independently monitoring battery water and had an led light on them telling you when the electrolyte was low.

of course nissan trucks i haven't worked on alot so i may be wrong about those trucks ;o)

Went to check out the lift and could not find any wire to the top of the battery for the water level indicator, found schematic and check the meter board plug and there was no wire to the plug (345). At this point im all in that the battery is done and need replacing. At the end i tested with a load tester and first 6 cells failed miserably. Testing 3 cells at a time for 6v reading

Thanks keven_t for the reply. I did notice one of the cap with the clear leveler. But i did not see any wire going to it. I will double check it tomorrow. also with the battery completely charged, each cells should read around 2.2 volts correct?

Truck battery should have or did have a cap on one of the battery cells that has a single wire going to it...this is a level sensor telling the truck when the electrolyte level is low...either the battery level is low and needs filled or sensor is stuck or inoperative...the cap for the cell should have a single wire to it and be a clear cap...
