Discussion:
Bale Clamp

Wondering if any one can help please. We have a customer with a Hyster H3.0FT Serial No L177B08573D 2006 Yom Diesel. The customer has fitted a bale clamp to it. The clamp is very slow to open and close, the engine speed has to be high to get any speed to move the clamp and it is causing the engine to overheat. It is a Yanmar engine.

You will need a service level password for the dash. Once entered you will need to scroll to calibrations. It will tell you what you need to do to get a good calibration. After calibration you need to go to diagnostics and then to hydraulics. I cannot remember the exact name of the block to check the minilever output but it is easy to find. This will show what each lever and direction is outputting to the VSM.

Hi Brewski. I think we have the proper pass-code to get into the system but that is all the knowledge we have, can you assist with the map on how to get to the calibration and how to get the 92% at full stroke. Info would be appreciated.

This truck shows it uses the minilever controls for hydraulics. You might need to calibrate the lever that runs the bale clamp. You also need to check that the lever is getting to at least 92% at full stroke.

The word "okay" (or its abbreviation "OK") originated as a humorous misspelling. In the 1830s, a fad in Boston involved using abbreviations of intentionally misspelled phrases. "OK" stood for "oll korrect," a playful mispronunciation of "all correct".
