This sounds like a regulator problem. If it sat for a long time the regulator may not be functioning properly after it goes into closed loop mode.

I'm pretty sure its fuel. I can start it no problem with starting fluid until I can get my hand to hold the throttle down then i transition to my hand to my foot (its a real pain in the ***). then I have to keep the throttle down about 1/2 way at all times or it will stall. all fuel components are warm not frosted or cold.

This lift has been sitting for 2 years. When I first did compression check it had 30-60 I sprayed seafoam and also some marvels mystery oil on valve springs and pushed them down. It must have cleaned the valves up enough to get them to function right because now compression is 180 each cylinder.

They are rounding the measurements to the nearest thousands.

well... strange

i get a different adjustment gap from the manual for all mazda 2.0L and 2.2L engines for trucks H30FT beginning serial number F001

INTAKE (ENGINE COLD): 0.15 mm (0.0059 in.)
EXHAUST (ENGINE COLD): 0.35 mm (0.0138 in.)

when i check the technitians quick reference guide it does give this:
Intake 0.15 mm (0.006 in.)
(COLD)
Exhaust 0.35 mm (0.014 in.)
(COLD)

is this a typo?
i know the measurements are very close but this can be confusing to those that do not know.
