TVH will acquire France Hayon |
Belgium's TVH Group has continued its acquisition drive, with the purchase of France Hayon Développement (FHD) and three of its branches: France Hayon Service (FHS), France Hayon Assistance (FHA) and Manutest.
TVH has confirmed that it has signed an agreement to buy the shares of the French tail lift parts distributor.
FHS, established in 1995, is the French leader in the distribution of tail lift parts of all makes. FHA is a mobile application that links FHS with couriers and repairers, while FHD provides training for maintenance and inspections. Manutest manages the regulatory periodic inspections of tail lifts in France.
It will be business as usual for the France Hayon group in Châteaubourg and its 19 employees. Michel Orhant, chairman of the group, and Patrice Bouvier, chief financial officer, both with 30 years of experience, will stay on in the new structure and will continue to support the business.
According to a TVH spokeswoman, the agreement will allow the company to expand its knowledge about tail lift parts and increase its market presence. Furthermore, both parties will immediately benefit from an expansion of their respective range of tail lift parts.
"As a result of this agreement, TVH will immediately be acknowledged on the market as the efficient all-round partner of after-sales service suppliers for tail lifts", says Gonzague Leclercq, general manager of TVH France.
TVH Group last month acquired all the shares of Rentaclamp, a UK-based company that offers new and refurbished attachments for forklifts, and workshop or onsite repair and parts service
(FLA #741).
