Forklifts carry out all sorts of important jobs, but one in the UK really took the cake (or sandwich, in this case).
When UK food companies Asda and Hazlewood Foods set an official record for creating the world's biggest sandwich last month, Toyota played a part.
The two-tonne sandwich, filled with tuna and sweet corn, was built at an Asda store near Manchester. Regional Toyota distributor Impact supplied a 7FBMF45 forklift to lift it.
Impact managing director Andrew McMillan said Hazlewood approached the company for help.
"It's not every day we're asked to supply a forklift for a giant sandwich. It was a pleasure to help in the quest for the world record," he said.
Reports of the world record success featured in national newspapers and on television. After the judging, the sandwich was cut and distributed to the homeless.
