What was previously on the market as the well-known RVL has now become the iCP. This intelligent carriage plate has had an important update, especially in terms of dimensions and functionalities. The iCP is now available as a metric version and optionally as Legal for Trade version, which makes it possible to invoice customers by weight.

Generate profit by re-weighing with the iCP

Turn the most significant cost center in your logistical and manufacturing operation into your largest profit center using the iCP. When it comes to shipping and weighing inbound and outbound goods to determine costs, the iCP saves you time and money. The iCP is the leading mobile weighing attachment in the logistics warehousing industry. It is a forklift scale designed to combine with or without forklift attachments to weigh goods while on the go, essentially depleting the need for a floor scale.

Why not use a floor scale?

Typically, when we speak with warehouse and fleet managers, we find that the floor scale often becomes the bottleneck to their operations. Inefficient weighing procedures not only cost them time and money, but it is also a single share point to weigh materials with no current workflow to collect current data. As a result, the data can be inaccurate, ensuring companies cannot collect the maximum invoice euros from the service they are providing.

How does the iCP become your profit center?

The iCP allows you to weigh material at the pallet's location by simply lifting the pallet a few inches off the ground. While lifting the pallet, you collect real-time data directly onto your RAVAS indicator or via the RAVAS WeightsApp, which can immediately push the data to your ERP or WMS business system. Thus, providing your associates with fast real-time data to manage. The iCP also helps to avoid overloading a trailer, which prevents unnecessary costs.

Application of the iCP

The iCP carriage plate scale allows you to weigh loads that are handled by forklift attachments like rotators and clamps. This enables applications where materials are dosed from the truck based on weight, by pouring them from containers or vessels. For foundry applications there is a special version of the iCP, with added protection for cables and electronics, to prevent damage from heat radiation. The iCP can also be certified legal for trade, allowing users to invoice their customers based on weight. This makes it an ideal product for applications in the recycling and waste removal industry.

Features of the iCP

Durability
The multiple flexures absorb the constant shock of load-bearing while transferring the weight to the load cells. These critical elements have no moving parts, reducing the potential for failure.

Accuracy
The iCP has a single tension load cell with 0.1% accuracy. The unique single load cell design provides superior load-sample linearity, as well as maintaining both heel-to-toe and fork-to-fork accuracy.

Use of attachments
The iCP attaches to most forklift carriages and requires no modification to the forklift as it does not connect to the truck's hydraulic system. As a result, lifting, weighing, counting, accumulating and transporting are accomplished as a single efficient operation. This streamlines workflow by eliminating the time-consuming task of taking shipments to remote platform scales.
Safety
Two rugged Grade-8 steel bolts secure the scale base for service or if the flexures fail due to unintentional abuse, thereby preventing damage to the load cell. These safety bolts secure the load even if the scale is damaged by overloading (accidental misuse or abuse).
Legal for Trade
As we have already mentioned, an important new feature of the iCP is that it can optionally be provided as a Legal for Trade version. This allows you to easily and quickly check the actual weight compared to the stated weight and invoice your customer by weight.
Wired or wireless
There is no better or best, it all depends on your situation: do you prefer a wired version or a wireless version with Bluetooth module? This depends entirely on your application. The iCP is available in both a wired and wireless version.

Standard specifications

  • Weighing capacity: 2,500, 5,000 of 7,000 kg
  • System tolerance: 0.2% of the load lifted
  • Overload protection: 200% on mechanical construction
  • Protection class: IP65/NEMA 4

It is time to step into the future and take advantage of the new and innovative technology of the iCP carriage plate. Optimize your logistics to save and generate money with the RAVAS iCP. The iCP is now available. More information? Please check the website or contact RAVAS directly.
