TMHE launches improved trucks

Toyota Material Handling Europe has launched the new generation of BT Movit N-series tow tractors and order pickers.
The forklifts have been redesigned to improve driver comfort, safety and productivity. They come with 'operator presence control' to ensure the driver works in a correct and safe position.
The tow tractors and order pickers are built for 1.5 T maximum towing capacity and have a 70 mm (2.8 in.) low step-in as standard. Their small dimensions make them suitable for a variety of indoor applications.

New series from Eastern Europe

Balkancar Record has introduced the Record 2E forklift series, equipped with Toyota engines.
The forklifts, which have "adjustable steering column, new counterweights for increased stability and comfortable footboards", replace the Record 2S series that has been on the market for 13 years. The new series comes in five load capacities - 2.5 T, 3 T, 3.5 T, 4 T and 5 T and haslifting heights ranging from 3 m to 6.4 m (10 ft. to 21 ft.).
The forklift series is available in the European Union, Middle East and the countries of the former Soviet Union.

Hyundai expands range
Geel, Belgium

Hyundai Heavy Industries Europe has launched three-wheeled electric forklifts with rear-wheel drive. The new 10 BTR, 13 BTR and 15 BTR 9-series forklifts have 24V AC power and lateral battery exchange.
European sales manager Michel de Weert says the forklifts are the result of a long development process supported by key customers in Europe. "Hyundai has a keen eye on the market and electric-powered logistic equipment is becoming more popular. We are going to supply a new series with a perfect balance of dimensions, power density, performance and ergonomics."

Twelve new models of warehouse trucks

Clark Material Handling Europe has launched 12 new models in the northern summer, further expanding its warehousing range.
The manufacturer has added to its reach truck range and low- and high-lift pedestrian-operated trucks, and also medium- and high-lift picker trucks. Clark says a prominent feature of its new warehousing technology machines is the robust "mono-block" design for mechanical strength and increased stability.
The new models consist of the C RT 25 4-D ac and C RT 13/16 K ac reach trucks, C CBS 15 ac and C PS 12 H ac high-lift trucks, C SPT 20 ac and C RPT 30 ac low-lift trucks and C OP04 - COP04 ac picker trucks.
