Hyundai Heavy Industries Europe has appointed Alain Worp as managing director.
Worp has been working for Hyundai for 13 years and has held a number of positions within the sales department, including director of construction equipment sales.
In the interim, Worp will fulfil both roles - managing director and sales director - CE.
Worp is succeeding J.C. Jung, who has returned to Korea.

The company has also announced the appointment of K.Y. Kong as the new COO of the Hyundai Construction Equipment division.
Kong's 30-year Hyundai career has included the roles of head of global forklift sales and head of production.
Kong has succeeded S.G. Rhee, who retired recently, leaving an impressive track record, having steered the company through challenging times amid a recessive economy in global markets like Brazil, Russia, China and many others.

Empire Crane Company has promoted Katie Pharoah to sales manager.
Her primary focus will continue to be within the sales department, with the added responsibility of managing the sales team and strengthening customer relations.
Pharoah has worked at Empire Crane Company since 2007, when she started as a temporary receptionist before quickly moving into the sales department where she has continued to increase her responsibilities.
