TVH has bought a 'considerable part' of Nuova Detas' stock.

Thermote & Vanhalst (TVH) is looking for ex-employees of Nuova Detas as their knowledge and experience will help ensure its customers can continue to repair ND forklifts.

Spokeswoman Debbie Manheave says a former employee of the Italian forklift manufacturer that ceased its activities last year now works for TVH. "He does research for Nuovo Detas machines for all our customers and visits suppliers in Italy and ex-Nouva Detas dealers."

TVH has taken over a "considerable part" of the company's stock. In December 2012, the company bought a range of Nuova Detas parts.

The spare parts and accessories supplier says it will work hard "to continue to provide repairers with Nuova Detas parts", enabling them to continue helping their customers.

TVH also stocks parts for other harder-to-find makes such as Balkancar, Grove, Halla, Kentruck, Lansing, Lugli, Peg, Prat, Salev, Saxby, Steinbock and Wagner.

Waregem-headquartered TVH considers itself a one-stop shop, offering a full service in forklifts, spare parts, accessories and handling equipment. It supplies more than 172 countries.
