JLG launches new online training courses

JLG Industries has developed an online Learning Management System to deliver training for its customers.

The online system will deliver four courses - basic electric, basic hydraulic, warranty fundamentals (warranty policy) and service bench (warranty system). The company plans to develop further the range of courses.

Todd Truax, JLG Industries director of training, says online training is the fastest growing venue for training in education and business. "JLG's online training offers a convenient and effective means for customers to build their skills and knowledge in a variety of functional areas pertinent to their business."

The warranty courses are offered free-of-charge and the basic electric and basic hydraulic courses can be taken for USD150 each or USD199 for both.

Customers can also maintain their training history for both online and classroom courses through the online system.
