Cameron given insight into JCB operations
ROCESTER, United KingdomUK Conservative Party leader David Cameron joined a list of well known politicians that includes Tony Blair and Margaret Thatcher when he visited JCB's world headquarters last Friday.
Cameron met with JCB chairman Sir Anthony Bamford before viewing how JCB machines are built during a factory tour.
Cameron said: "JCB is a fantastic company - a great British success story."
JCB is the world's third-largest construction equipment manufacturer. It claims its Loadall telehandler is the UK's highest-selling product of its type.
New name for Trifik
BASINGSTOKE, United KingdomLinde Trifik will now trade as Linde Material Handling East Ltd.
The change follows last year's announcement that Linde Material Handling (UK) Ltd has acquired the remaining shares of Hoddersdon-based Linde Trifik Ltd.
Linde Trifik Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Linde Material Handling (UK) Ltd.
Indian expo in December
HANNOVER, GermanyDeutsche Messe will be staging the inaugural CeMAT India - the International Trade Fair for Intralogistics from 4 to 7 December in Bangalore.
The organiser anticipates 150 exhibitors will occupy about 3,000m² (32,292 square feet) of floor space. About one-third of the exhibitors will come from India, 20% from Germany and the rest from Italy, Spain and the US.

WAREGEM, BelgiumBelgian state secretary Vincent Van Quickenborne exchanged ideas with TVH staff on the subject of administrative simplification on his visit last month.
Kristof Bolle was among the TVH managers to join the round-table conference.
Bolle demonstrated the contribution of TVH's Quick Source e-commerce program in the field of administrative simplification. Quick Source allows customers to make price inquiries and orders online. At least 75% of all price inquiries are placed via Quick Source and 53% of orders are made with the software.
