There's a very interesting debate unfolding in our Discussion Forums this week, based on a dealer feeling the need to apologise on behalf of the whole industry when customers complain of unfair dealings with his competitors. The dealer has suggested a code of ethics to cover forklift sales and service and has asked for input.
So let's hear from you. Buyers, would you be more protected if the industry had a code of conduct and what should it cover?
Vendors, would you be prepared to sign up to the code and what would you include in your industry pledge?
