Robert Schuster

Robert Schuster has been promoted to vice president for Cascade, Asia-Pacific. Schuster was Cascade Australia managing director before his promotion. He previously worked as parts depot manager at Cascade's Springfield, Ohio, location. He will continue to be responsible for Australia and New Zealand.

TCM Distribution USA has appointed Tony Salvatore as manager of parts operations. He previously spent 11 years with Mitsui Machinery Distribution in a variety of positions, the most recent being assistant parts manager (Forkliftaction.com News #215).

Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA) has promoted two executives. Tom Carbott is now vice president of sales. Carbott joined MHIA in 1992 and has held different management roles in education, sales, marketing and industry product service development. He will be responsible for managing sales staff and the growth of MHIA's international trade events.

Michael Laurent is now MHIA vice president of finance. Laurent will assume broader duties and responsibilities for the organisation's financial planning and operations. He will also oversee membership services operations. He joined MHIA in 1988.
