Cat Lift Trucks boosts local students' education
HOUSTON, TX, United StatesThree US high school graduates received a USD1,000 scholarship from Cat Lift Trucks at a recent awards reception at the company's Houston headquarters.
Two of the recipients Jason Fochtman and Bruce Jaynes, plan to major in mechanical engineering at Texas Christian University while Emily Fortuna plans to major in computer science at Rice University.
TIC plans Indian forklift sales base
NAGOYA, JapanToyota Industries Corp (TIC) will capitalise on the Indian market's growth potential by establishing a forklift sales base there, president Tetsuro Toyoda said.
The Jiji Press English news service said Toyoda cited the country's vast population as a reason for TIC's aim to make swift inroads into the Indian market.
MCFA renews CitiCapital finance program
HARRISON, NY, United StatesMitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America (MCFA) and CitiCapital, a Citigroup business unit, will renew their exclusive retail and wholesale finance program covering the US and Canada.
