Terex AWP, for Germany, Austria and Switzerland (GAS region) and strategic accounts. After several years with Gunco, where he supported Genie products, Snijder then moved to spider lift manufacturer Teupen, where he held the position of Sales Director Europe for six years.
He joins Genie from Riwal, where he held responsibility for the company's retail sales and business development. Based in the Netherlands and also reporting to Jacco de Kluijver, Snijder takes over leadership in Germany from Lars Raagaard, who is now fully dedicated as Genie sales director, Terex AWP, for the Nordics region (Denmark, Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Baltics), which is developing very fast.

Thomas Meheust has been appointed as Genie sales director, Terex AWP, for Benelux, Israel and used equipment.
Based in the UK, he reports to Jacco de Kluijver, Genie VP sales & marketing, Terex AWP, for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Russia (EMEAR). After working in the access business with ATN and Youngman, Meheust comes to Genie from UNIC Cranes, where he held responsibility for the company's European sales.

Hoppecke Industrial Batteries has appointed Jon Bailey as head of its UK operation with a remit to pursue organic growth across the motive, special and reserve power sectors.
Bailey has worked in the battery industry for 38 years and joins Hoppecke UK from Johnson Controls, where he spent 13 years in senior management in the power solutions division, latterly fulfilling country manager and regional director roles in the automotive aftermarket marketplace.
As managing director, Bailey aims to take full advantage of the company's manufacturing heritage and will maximise efficiencies by capitalising on recent improvements in service levels. He will also work to ensure that Hoppecke exploits the growth potential in energy storage in the UK.
