 Dromad Hire's latest acquisitions |
Irish rental company Dromad Hire has invested in two new Snorkel A38E boom lifts in a deal closed at Vertikal Days 2016.
The Snorkel A38E is an electric articulated boom lift that delivers 13.5 m working height, and up to 5.9 m of horizontal reach, and is fitted with non-marking tyres as standard. It has an ultra-tight turning radius, is less than 1.5 m wide, and has a 90 degree hydraulically powered platform rotate for easier platform positioning at height. Weighing 3,770 kg, the A38E is ideal for working indoors on floors where ground pressure is limited.
Dromad Hire managing director Seamus Byrne says: "We have been running Snorkel A38Es in our fleet now for some time, so the machine is already proven to us. Snorkel UK provide us with excellent back-up and support, so this made our decision over choosing other manufacturers a very easy one."
"The new A38E models further extends our product offering in electric boom lifts, which are increasingly in demand with our customers due to their use in specialised applications - particularly indoor use."
Andrew Fishburn, divisional managing director of Snorkel UK, says the A38E is a very popular model "that has already been well received by their customer base, and we are grateful for their continued support and trust".
Founded in 1988, Dromad Hire is a family-operated plant and tool hire business based in Dundalk in the Republic of Ireland. It has recently expanded into specialised powered access hire, and, in 2014, was the first hire company in Ireland to be awarded 'Safe Hire' status, a standard that continues to be retained.
Dromad Hire has already taken delivery of the two new electric articulated boom lifts that are now deployed within its hire fleet.
