UK-based mobile crane and plant equipment hire specialist Marsh Plant Hire is expanding its fleet with eight Liebherr mobile cranes.
Marsh has invested in seven Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 models and a LTM 1110-5.2. The first two LTM 1060-3.1s and the LTM 1110-5.2 have already been deployed and the remaining cranes will be delivered by early 2025.
The LTM 1060-3.1 has three axles and features a five-section 48 m main boom and can carry all its 12.8 T of counterweight within the UK’s STGO regulations, which allow axle loads of up to 16.5 T.
The larger stablemate, the five-axle LTM 1110-5.2, has a seven-section 60 m main boom, which is topped by a 10.8 to 19 m double swing-away fly jib. It can travel with its 29 T of counterweight in the UK.
Marsh managing director Andy Honeywell says of the purchase: “We continue to invest in the Liebherr product. The 60 T cranes are a tried and tested model and the 110 T unit is new to our fleet which we look forward to fully evaluating over the coming months”.
Marsh Plant Hire offers a fleet of mobile cranes and general plant hire with depots in Hampshire, Dorset, Somerset, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. The Marsh fleet includes 16 to 20 T Crevo and Kato city cranes, with its range extending up to 150 T Liebherr, Tadano and Terex cranes.
