Briggs Equipment UK has appointed Peter Jones as managing director.
Previously the company's chief financial officer, Jones joined Briggs in 2006 and has been a key member of the leadership team, playing a significant role in the transformation of the business following its acquisition by Sammons Enterprises Inc.
Jones is a graduate of Nottingham University and a chartered accountant. In addition to his finance and commercial acumen, he has considerable experience of change management, business planning and process improvement. Prior to joining Briggs Equipment, he enjoyed a 14-year career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in both the UK and the USA.
An appointment to the role of finance director will be made in due course.

Flux Power Holdings has announced the appointment of Steve Dickson as director of sales and Jon Berry as director of operations.
Dickson spent the last decade in senior sales positions concentrating on commercial and industrial electrical vehicle charging networks in Southern California and, most recently, selling energy storage solutions that address peak energy shaving and arbitrage applications. He brings a broad network of commercial contacts along with unique energy storage experience from successful positions at Powin Energy, Stem Energy, Ecotality and Infrastructure Networks.
Berry was previously director of operations at Clean Air Power, an international manufacturer, distributor and vehicle converter specialising in the development of natural gas systems for trucks and heavy equipment. He also held management and engineering positions at Alstom Transport, PACCAR UK and Pilkington Aerospace.

Robert Smith has joined UniCarriers Americas (UCA) as its newest regional sales manager.
As Mid-Atlantic regional sales manager, Smith's responsibilities include overseeing, motivating and assisting dealers as they promote UCA's products in the Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina and Washington, DC areas.
Smith brings more than 12 years of forklift and aftermarket regional sales experience to his new position. Prior to joining UCA, Smith worked as a marketing supervisor and dealer development manager for CLARK Material Handling Company and as a marketing and sales associate, regional manager and sales planning manager for Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America.
