KION Group has been joined by Philipp Korrell as vice president of strategy.
Korrell spent close to eight years at global management firm MicKinsey & Company where he, most recently, served as expert associate partner, rising through the ranks after starting as a junior practice specialist. He was with BMW Group before that.
In a post on LinkedIn, Korrell says: “As I move forward, I am excited to join KION, a leader in automation, logistics, and supply chain solutions, where I will be contributing to the next phase of innovation and transformation. This is an exciting time for the company as it continues to shape the future of supply chain and logistics technology.”

UK robotic and automated materials handling solutions specialist Rainbow Dynamics is looking to expand its presence in North America with the appointment of Keith Gallant as general manager for its US and Canadian operations.
Before joining Rainbow Dynamics, Gallant held a senior sales and marketing role with robotics systems integrator Dorabot, among his 34-plus year career in marketing and robotics.
His experience and expertise includes the design and implementation of pallet-and case-level AS/RS solutions, automated guided vehicles and robotic pick, pack and palletising applications for clients operating within diverse industry sectors.
Rainbow Dynamics’ founder Alfred Chen said of the appointment: “The USA and Canada play a pivotal role in our forecast growth trajectory and, with his proven track record in driving sustainable business development and spearheading commercial strategies, Keith Gallant a perfect fit.”

Tod Kilgore has announced his retirement from the role of VP sales and marketing with US-based lithium-ion battery producer Flux Power, effective from January 31.
Kilgore, who joined Flux Power in 2017, says the decision comes with mixed emotions.
“I look back on my time here with deep appreciation and pride in what I've accomplished as part of this team,” Kilgore announced in a LinkedIn post.
“Working with such talented colleagues has been one of the highlights of my career and I am grateful for the opportunities for growth, the challenges, the wins, and the friendships I have built over the years.
“Although I am retiring from my role, I look forward to staying in touch and cherish the memories and relationships I have made at Flux Power."
