Experienced finance and accounting executive Kevin Royal has been appointed chief financial officer of Flux Power Holdings, replacing Chuck Scheiwe. 

Royal has more than 20 years of experience as a chief financial officer for four publicly traded companies, with oversight of finance, accounting, information technology, human resources, legal, investor relations and mergers and acquisitions. 

Before joining Flux Power, he was executive vice president and chief financial officer for Zovio Inc. (formerly Bridgepoint Education). 

He was also senior vice president and chief financial officer of Maxwell Technologies and served as chief financial officer at Blue Coat Systems and Novellus Systems. 

Royal holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting, from Harding University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

“His achievements as well as expertise in financial management of listed companies will make a significant contribution to the strategic operation and development of our company going forward,” Flux Power chief executive officer Ron Dutt says.

Scheiwe will remain with Flux Power in a consulting role for the near term to help facilitate the transition.

Scott Schrum

New Age Industrial has promoted Scott Schrum to assistant national sales manager of its material handling division.

Schrum has more than 30 years of experience in sales and management and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Kansas.
